Benedictine University recently hosted the Steubenville Joliet Youth Conference, a three-day event that gathered nearly 2,000 teens, priests, volunteers, and vendors. The conference is part of the Steubenville Youth Conferences organized by Partnership for Youth (PFY), which aims to evangelize and empower young Catholics.
The event saw 1,941 participants along with 41 priests, 100 volunteers, and six vendors on campus. It featured dynamic worship sessions, engaging talks, and small-group discussions to deepen the participants' faith.
Amy Cummings, Executive Director of PFY, commended Benedictine University's role in the event. "Our inaugural Steubenville Joliet Conference at Benedictine University was a tremendous success—and it simply would not have been possible without their exceptional partnership and support," she said.
She added that from her first site visit to BenU, she experienced warmth and enthusiasm from every staff member. "The team’s professionalism, attention to detail, and shared commitment to excellence made a lasting impression and set the tone for a truly impactful weekend."
The Steubenville Youth Conferences are held across North America each summer. The collaboration with Benedictine University for this conference marks the start of what is expected to be a long-term partnership.
