The Archdiocese of Louisville has scheduled a Mass of Thanksgiving to honor Pope Francis. This special service will take place at 6 p.m. on April 22 at the Cathedral of the Assumption, located at 433 S. Fifth Street.

The event is set to commemorate the life of Pope Francis following his passing on Easter Monday, April 21, at the age of 88.

Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre will preside over the Mass, serving as the principal celebrant and homilist. The Archdiocese invites everyone to attend the service.
