Attorney General Ken Paxton has announced the arrest of a woman in the Houston area. She is accused of conducting illegal abortions, operating unlicensed abortion facilities, and practicing medicine without a license. These actions are considered a second-degree felony.

Paxton also revealed legal action against a New York-based abortion provider. This individual allegedly mailed abortion drugs to a Texas resident without holding a valid medical license in the state. The drugs reportedly resulted in the termination of an unborn child and caused severe health complications for the mother, requiring emergency room treatment.

In response to these developments, Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of SBA Pro-Life America, expressed her support for Paxton's actions: "We commend Attorney General Paxton for his commitment to upholding Texas laws that protect women and unborn children."

Dr. Ingrid Skop, Vice President and Director of Medical Affairs at Charlotte Lozier Institute, also commented on the situation: "The protection of maternal health requires strict adherence to medical standards and regulations."

SBA Pro-Life America is an organization with over one million members nationwide. It focuses on ending abortion by supporting pro-life political leaders and advocating for life-saving legislation, with an emphasis on promoting pro-life women leaders.
