Alumni and friends of The School of Education gathered at the Stewart Manor Country Club on December 7, 2024, for a "Sip and Shop" event. The gathering offered participants an opportunity to enjoy hors d'oeuvres, wine, a four-course luncheon, raffles, and shopping with various vendors.

The theme of the event was "The 12 Gifts of Christmas," which attracted eighty attendees who took part in shopping, dining, and reconnecting with fellow alumni. The event successfully raised $8,000 to cover the luncheon costs and an additional $2,470 for scholarships.

“CONGRATULATIONS to Carole and her entire committee for the absolute success of the Sip and Shop,” said Joseph Sciame ‘71Ed, Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Board.

The day served as a platform for community building and supporting students through philanthropy.
