Conwell-Egan Catholic High School in Fairless Hills, Bucks County, is set to dedicate its basketball court in honor of alumnus John Cordisco and the Class of 1973. The dedication ceremony will occur before the varsity basketball game against Lincoln High School on Friday, December 13th.
John Cordisco, a member of the Class of 1973, will attend the event with his classmates. Also present will be Matthew Fischer, President of CEC, and William Burns, Director of Advancement for CEC.
The event schedule includes a pre-game welcome reception from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by the court dedication just before the basketball game at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School located at 611 Wistar Road.
Attendees will gather in CEC’s Center for Student Leadership for a welcome reception prior to the ceremony.
John Cordisco is known as the co-founder of Cordisco & Saile, LLC and has gained recognition both locally and nationally for his work in personal injury law. He served three terms as a Pennsylvania State Representative from 1981 to 1986 and was involved in various legislative committees. His civic contributions include founding the Have a Heart Foundation and working with Food for the Poor.
Recently appointed by Bucks County Commissioners, Cordisco serves on both the Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority and SEPTA Board.
Conwell-Egan Catholic High School is a co-educational college-preparatory institution within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. It serves around 700 students from grades nine through twelve and focuses on character building through service and academic excellence.
