Christian Brothers University (CBU) concluded its annual "September of Service," accumulating 505 hours of volunteer work with the participation of 125 individuals. The initiative, titled "7 Days of Good Deeds," involved students, alumni, faculty, and staff in nine events throughout Memphis.

Volunteers engaged in various activities such as enhancing a local park with Memphis City Beautiful, supporting the Refugee Empowerment Program's after-school activities, and sorting food for more than 200 families at the Mid-South Food Bank. Additional efforts included trail maintenance at Overton Park, tree planting at Lichterman Nature Center, and preparing a site for an outdoor mural with Paint Memphis. On-campus contributions involved cleaning windows at Lambert Hall and Stritch Chapel.

This service week underscores CBU's dedication to community engagement and social responsibility within the Memphis area.
