STEUBENVILLE, OHIO—Franciscan University of Steubenville has launched a free online video series called "In Person" on FaithandReason.com. This new series features exclusive interviews by University President Father Dave Pivonka, TOR ’89, with Catholics from various walks of life. These guests discuss God’s unique call in their lives and the unexpected places following that call has taken them.

The first "In Person" episode features Jonathan Roumie, the actor who portrays Jesus Christ on the hit series "The Chosen." In the episode, Roumie talks about what playing Jesus has taught him about prayer, how he deals with fame, and more.

“Living as a Christian in today’s increasingly secularized world is challenging, but hearing other people’s stories of faith can be a profound source of encouragement,” said Father Pivonka. “With this new series, I am honored to sit down with Catholics from different backgrounds and share their stories about how God has worked in their lives. I’m inspired and uplifted by their witness and pray our viewers will be, too.”

Upcoming "In Person" episodes include interviews with Super Bowl Champion and former pro-football player Matthew Birk, Bishop Frank Caggiano of the Diocese of Bridgeport, Connecticut, author Arthur Brooks, radio host and speaker Katie Prejean McGrady, and more.

"In Person" is the latest addition to Franciscan University’s online platform, FaithandReason.com. Faith and Reason features free videos and podcasts that explore important topics such as Church and culture, politics and philosophy, spirituality, and the joy of life in Christ.
