Student enrollment is currently open for kindergarten, first, and second grade at San Xavier Mission School. Families are encouraged to request a tour of the school. Principal Minh Solorzano emphasized that tuition should not be a barrier for enrolling children in a Catholic school, as tuition assistance and scholarships are available. "We are delighted to assist families through the entire registration and scholarship process," Solorzano stated.
The school offers small class sizes with the following spaces available: 12 spots in kindergarten, 7 in first grade, and 15 in second grade. Interested parties can contact the office at 520-294-0628 X422 or find the registration application on the school's website. San Xavier Mission School is also hiring teachers for kindergarten and Tohono O’odham language positions.
Reflecting on recent developments, Solorzano noted significant changes to the school campus over the past year. "It is exciting to know that we are 95% to completing the renovation goals for the 2023-2024 school year," he said. The school has received substantial support from various departments within the Diocese of Tucson and local organizations including The Bishop, Catholic Foundation, Schools, Fiscal, Property/Insurance, Communications, San Xavier Parish, and San Xavier District. Over $500,000 in grants and contributions have been designated towards major renovations.
A new playground funded by the Pasquinelli Foundation will be constructed in summer 2024. The project includes seating benches and other play equipment. "We are truly grateful to Mr. Pasquinelli for this monumental project," Solorzano expressed.
Supporters can contribute to San Xavier Mission School through CTSO tax credit donations.
Blessings,
Minh Solorzano
