The Science of Reading, based on the latest brain research and literacy development, is considered an effective method for reading instruction, focusing on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.
Walsh University’s undergraduate and graduate education programs are leading in this critical area for preparing the next generation of teachers.
