Effective July 1, several priest assignments have been announced.

Pastor Assignments:

Fr. John Gonzales, currently the Administrator of St. John Neumann Parish in Yuma, will become the Pastor of St. John Neumann Parish.

Fr. Francisco Maldonado will be assigned to Our Lady of the Mountains Parish in Sierra Vista.

Fr. Mike Martinez will be assigned to Our Lady of the Valley Parish in Green Valley.

Parochial Vicar Assignments:

Fr. Jijo Thomas, M.S.F.S., who is new to the Diocese and currently studying Spanish in Peru, will be assigned to Immaculate Conception Parish in Yuma.

Fr. Abundio Colazo-Lopez will be assigned to Santa Monica Parish in Tucson.

Fr. Ricardo Rivera Gutierrez, S.D.S., following his ordination in May, will be assigned to St. Augustine Cathedral while residing with the Salvatorian community in Tucson.

Fr. Alan Soto Hopkins will be assigned part-time to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Tucson and will continue his part-time canon law studies.

Fr. Samuel Jandeh, V.C., will be assigned to St. Thomas the Apostle in Tucson and will also serve as the local Superior of the Via Christi Fathers.

Fr. Vincent Odoh, V.C., will be assigned to Sts. Peter and Paul in Tucson.
