Members of the Archdiocese of Louisville are preparing to celebrate significant wedding anniversaries this month. Bob and Cindy Huelsman Terrell, who belong to the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto Cathedral in Bardstown, Ky., will mark their 50th wedding anniversary on May 18. Mrs. Terrell retired from Kmart and Sears Holding Corp., following a career spanning 39 years, while Mr. Terrell concluded his service with the Painters Union. The couple have been blessed with three children, 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In addition, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brawner, members of St. Patrick Church, are set to commemorate their golden wedding anniversary on May 16. Mrs. Brawner, formerly Carla Kuffner, enjoyed a long career at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for 42 years before her retirement. Mr. Brawner has also retired after dedicating 40 years to various companies such as American Printing House for the Blind, Olympic Stain, Grindmaster and Grand Soft Equipment. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Jake and Donna Dillman, parishioners at St Gregory Church in Samuels, Ky., will also celebrate their half-century marriage milestone on May 18. Mr. Dillman concluded his professional journey at Louisville Gas & Electric after providing 32 years of service while Mrs. Dillman retired from the Bullitt County school system. The couple have three children and eight grandchildren.
