The Archdiocese of Louisville recently announced that their collection for the 2023 Retirement Fund for Religious generated a significant contribution of $65,000. The fund, which is sponsored by the National Religious Retirement Office, aims to provide financial and educational assistance to help religious communities support their elderly members while continuing their important work.

According to the report, about 30,000 elderly sisters, brothers, and priests benefit from the fund's contributions. Since its inception in 1988, the archdiocese has contributed a total of $5,237,355 to the fund, highlighting their ongoing commitment to supporting retired religious individuals.

The collection for the Retirement Fund for Religious is an annual event that takes place in December, allowing members of the community to come together and contribute towards this important cause.
