Walsh University has proudly unveiled the finalists for the prestigious T.O.W.E.R. of Excellence Award for 2024. This award, which is presented annually at the President’s Dinner, recognizes seniors or recent graduates who embody qualities such as talented leadership, dedication to the campus and community, commitment to current and future Cavaliers, and the core values of faith, excellence, integrity, service, and community.
Among the outstanding finalists are Ethan Frost, Isabel Gill, Hannah Olszewski, Jessica Pregizer, and Lauren Selhorst.
Ethan Frost, a finalist for the T.O.W.E.R. of Excellence Award, has been described as a shining example of commitment and dedication. Hailing from Jackson Township, Ohio, Ethan is a Pre-Medicine/Biology student who has demonstrated leadership both academically and within the community. He has been involved in various extracurricular activities and is actively engaged in promoting faith-based initiatives on campus. Ethan's future plans include pursuing a career in medicine or working as an Emergency Medical Technician before attending medical school.
Isabel Gill, another finalist, has left a deep-rooted mark on campus through her service, leadership, and academic excellence. Pursuing a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Philosophy, Isabel has been actively involved in campus life, serving as a Resident Assistant, student ambassador, and participant in various programs. Her post-graduation plans include making a positive impact as an elementary school teacher.
Hannah Olszewski, a Nursing major, has demonstrated exceptional dedication to her studies and community involvement. Her leadership roles on campus, commitment to service, and academic achievements have earned her recognition as a finalist for the T.O.W.E.R. of Excellence award. Hannah's future endeavors include working in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Akron Children’s Hospital while continuing her volunteer work in the community.
Jessica Pregizer, a K-12 Intervention Specialist Education major, has been selected as one of the finalists for her commitment to learning and compassion. Jessica's involvement in campus ministries, leadership roles, and community service projects highlight her dedication to making a difference in the lives of others. Her future plans include pursuing a career as an Intervention Specialist and continuing her involvement in community service initiatives.
Lauren Selhorst, a Middle Childhood Education major, has been recognized for her dedication to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community service. As a finalist for the T.O.W.E.R. of Excellence award, Lauren's leadership roles on campus and involvement in serving the local community have set her apart. Her post-Walsh plans include seeking entry into a religious community to further her commitment to faith and service.
