Marian University has appointed Craig Koch as its new vice president of facilities, with the official start date of his new role being February 26, 2024.
Craig Koch, who previously served as a project manager for Browning Construction, expressed his enthusiasm for his new position, stating, "I am truly honored and excited to join Marian University as the vice president of facilities. Having been deeply involved with Marian through my previous role at Browning Construction, I am well acquainted with the campus and its needs. Marian University holds a special place in my professional journey, and I am eager to contribute to its ongoing transformation into a premier learning destination in Indianapolis."
In his new role, Koch will be tasked with providing leadership and supervision across Marian University facilities, overseeing planning, operations, maintenance, renovation, and construction across all sites in support of educational and co-curricular programs. Koch's experience in construction management, particularly at Browning Construction where he was involved in various projects at Marian University, including the construction of several key facilities, will be instrumental in his new position.
Greg Ginder, senior vice president for personnel, finance, facilities, and technology at Marian University, expressed confidence in Koch's abilities, stating, "Craig will be a powerful addition to the Marian leadership team by leveraging his extensive experience in construction management to provide strategic leadership and oversight in enhancing the university's facilities.
