Birthright of Lincoln, a long-standing organization dedicated to supporting pregnant women and their unborn babies, has provided assistance to over 100 women in the past year. Since its establishment in 1971, Birthright of Lincoln has been offering emotional support and financial aid for essential items such as cribs, car seats, diapers, formula, and food to those in need.

Co-director Marty Miller emphasizes the impact of their support, stating, "When we help the women, we are also helping each unborn baby and an untold number of other children in the household." Birthright's dedication to valuing life has resonated with women and girls seeking assistance, leading to an increase in visits for both material items and pregnancy testing.

The organization is proud to assist women from all backgrounds, with a particular focus on minority and low-income individuals. Birthright's services are open to people of all creeds, nationalities, and religions, and privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance.

In recent times, Birthright has witnessed an inspiring trend. Many past clients who have received their support in the past have become more determined to embrace their "unplanned" pregnancies. Miller explains, "We have seen several past clients we helped previously become more determined to have their babies because 'Birthright has their back.'"

Birthright's commitment to supporting life extends beyond women alone. The organization's volunteers have also assisted men who sought help when their partners considered terminating their pregnancies. Miller urges the community to express gratitude towards the dedicated volunteers who have selflessly served women in crisis situations, saying, "Next time you see one of our 24 volunteers, and a huge number of past volunteers, please take a moment to thank them for all their years selflessly helping women choose life."

For immediate assistance, Birthright of Lincoln provides a 24-hour call line at 1-800-550-4900, where a live person is available to offer support even during holidays.
