Benedictine University's Goodwin College of Business recently hosted the Contemporary Trends in Change Management Lecture Series, which proved to be a great learning opportunity for attendees. The event took place on Saturday, February 3rd and featured Liora Gross, formerly the Digital Transformation Practice Lead for the Center for Creative Leadership and currently responsible for executive leadership development at Google.

During the lecture, Gross focused on the human element of digital transformation and provided valuable insights on how to effectively lead through change. She emphasized the importance of understanding that while digital transformation is inevitable, it is ultimately a "people business."

The event brought together a diverse group of attendees, including PhD alumni from various cohorts and current doctoral students. Additionally, participants from the MSMOB program, both current and past, shared their experiences and insights. The room was filled with scholar-practitioners from different industries, creating an environment of collective experience and inspiration.

The success of the lecture series has generated excitement for the future of Benedictine University's GCOB Doctoral Program. The program is now accepting applications for its next cohort, set to begin in the fall of 2024. This presents an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in business.

For more information about the GCOB Doctoral Program and how to apply, interested individuals can visit the university's website.
