This scholarship program aims to recognize outstanding Catholic female high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, faith, and service. In 2024, SDCCW is offering four $2,000 scholarships to deserving young women who exemplify SDCCW's mission values.

High school senior young women who are interested in applying for the scholarships can obtain application forms from their high school principal, guidance office, or parish office. The scholarship is open to students from all Catholic and public schools, as well as all Catholic churches in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. The scholarship is applicable for the next academic year, starting in 2024.

Applications for the scholarship have been distributed to all parishes and high schools in the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. To be considered, all application materials must be sent together and postmarked by March 30, 2024. SDCCW will review the applications and select the scholarship recipients from the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. The winning applicant, her school, and parish will be notified of the selection by early May.

The scholarship recipients will be honored at the Women of Distinction Mass and Banquet, which will take place on Saturday, June 15. Additionally, the recipients will be featured in an upcoming issue of Catholic Times, further showcasing their achievements and contributions.
