Reverend Michael G. Woost Bishop | Diocese of Cleveland
As the three-year Eucharistic Revival continues across the country, the faithful in the Diocese of Cleveland have a special resource available to them: the Eucharistic Miracles Display.
The display, created by SS. Cosmas and Damian Parish in Twinsburg, is a traveling museum-like exhibition that features the Eucharistic Miracles chronicled by Blessed Carlo Acutis. According to Blessed Carlo, the Eucharist has changed in its physical appearance in documented and scientifically scrutinized occasions, reminding us that the bread and wine of the Mass become the body and blood of Jesus.
"There are more than 126 recorded Eucharistic Miracles worldwide," says Blessed Carlo. "I dedicated myself to compiling dozens of exhibits about these miracles to help people understand the importance of the Eucharist."
The display includes scientific and medical records, photos, and details about each miracle. It serves as a powerful tool for deepening the faith of believers and inspiring awe in the presence of the Eucharist.
Parishes and Catholic organizations across the eight-county diocese are encouraged to host the exhibit. In the coming months, several parishes have been selected to be the next hosts for the Eucharistic Miracles Display.
The first parish on the list is Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish in Brook Park. The exhibit will be held from January 20th to January 29th, with hours varying throughout the week. "We are excited to host the Eucharistic Miracles Display," says Father Michael, the pastor of Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish. "This exhibition is a wonderful opportunity for our parishioners and the wider community to deepen their understanding of the Eucharist."
Following Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish, St. Paschal Baylon Parish in Highland Heights will be the next host from February 17th to March 2nd. Holy Angels Parish in Chagrin Falls will then welcome the exhibit from March 17th to March 30th. Lastly, St. Joseph Parish in Avon Lake will host the display from April 20th to April 28th.
Each parish will have specific hours for the exhibit, so interested individuals are encouraged to check with the respective parishes for additional details.
The Eucharistic Miracles Display serves as a powerful reminder of the miraculous nature of the Eucharist. With the exhibition traveling to various locations, it provides an opportunity for Catholics in the Diocese of Cleveland to witness and reflect upon these extraordinary occurrences.
The faithful are invited to visit the display and experience the awe-inspiring presence of the Eucharistic Miracles firsthand. As Blessed Carlo Acutis once said, "The Eucharist is my highway to heaven."
Let us embrace this opportunity to deepen our faith and cherish the gift of the Eucharist in our lives.
