St. Edward's University hosts students from more than 50 countries on its campus, a news release states.

"We take pride in our international community of critical thinkers, innovators and problem solvers," the news release states. "Here, we’re passionate about improving the world."

The university shared stories of many of its students, including students from Nigeria, Chile and the United Kington.

Ketevan "Kate" Malazonia, who is set to graduate in 2021 and is from the United Kingdom, said her favorite place on campus is just outside the bookstore because she can see how green the campus is and she can sit, do her homework, drink coffee and read or listen to music.

"I feel at home because of how friendly everyone is here," Malazonia said in the news release. "The professors and students were all very welcoming and had so many questions to ask me about being from another country. I learn from them, and they learn from me."
