SBA Pro-Life America and Women Speak Out PAC have announced a $4.5 million campaign to influence Michigan’s open U.S. Senate race. The investment will fund field operations aiming to reach 1 million voters across the state by Election Day, using digital ads, mail outreach, and an early vote push.
The campaign’s efforts are centered in Lansing, Detroit, and Grand Rapids. Organizers plan to focus on pro-life supporters who do not always participate in midterm elections as well as voters considered persuadable. The goal is to strengthen the pro-life majority in the Senate and continue momentum from recent developments in Michigan, where four Planned Parenthood facilities closed this year after Congress ended what SBA called "forced funding of big abortion" through federal legislation.
Emily Green, an SBA field director from South Lyon, Michigan, said: “We’re energized and ready for the next critical chapter in the fight for life. The murder of Charlie Kirk – a true champion for the unborn – has only strengthened our resolve. Now more than ever, we’re committed to speaking out with courage. By connecting with voters and winning key elections, we can save more unborn children and support moms.”
SBA Pro-Life America operates what it describes as the largest pro-life voter contact program nationwide. Over six election cycles since 2014, it reports having reached 31 million voters in battleground states. In 2024 alone, its outreach included over 750,000 Michigan residents at their homes.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America, stated: “Four Planned Parenthoods in Michigan have closed their doors because we took back the White House and Congress in 2024 – and we’re just getting started. America’s premier pro-life field program will complete 1 million voter visits over the next 13 months to build on that momentum and defend and grow our pro-life majority in the U.S. Senate.
“We must stop the abortion lobby from clawing back $500 million in annual Medicaid dollars for their own political machine. No American should be forced to bankroll a brutal industry that kills over 1.1 million unborn children each year, harms women with substandard care and funnels millions into partisan politics – especially when better, more accessible health care alternatives outnumber Planned Parenthood 15 to 1.
“We know that whoever emerges from the contested Democratic primary for Senate is going to be an abortion extremist. Take Congresswoman Haley Stevens, who has voted against medical care for babies born alive after failed abortions, and has voted in favor of nationally mandated late-term abortions in all 50 states. We are ready to educate and mobilize on the ground to win next November.”
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America describes itself as a network of over one million Americans focused on ending abortion by electing national leaders supportive of its goals and advocating for laws aimed at saving lives.
Women Speak Out PAC partners with SBA Pro-Life America as a super PAC representing women opposed to abortion rights expansion; since its founding in 2014 it has built a significant ground campaign presence nationwide.
