IRVING, Texas (Feb. 26, 2023) — The University of Dallas has announced a new initiative called the Crusader Promise, offering automatic acceptance to academically accomplished students from local Catholic high schools in the Dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth.
University President Jonathan J. Sanford, PhD, emphasized the institution's commitment to educational excellence and the local community, stating, "The University of Dallas is committed to renewing the culture through educational excellence, and the culture begins with our neighbors here in North Texas." He also expressed the university's dedication to sharing the liberal arts with Dallas/Fort Worth families through the Crusader Promise, furthering the local church's mission of forming young Christians.
Under the Crusader Promise, eligible students must meet specific criteria, including having a clean disciplinary record, high grades, standardized test scores, and a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Sanford highlighted the importance of this opportunity for students to pursue higher education at UD.
