Seventy-four Young Candidates Receive First Eucharist Throughout Our Cluster
On  the weekend  of
May  7th  &  8th  a  few
things were happen-
ing.    Mother’s  Day,
Good  Shepherd  Sun-
day, baseball and soft-
ball  tournaments  and
for  74  second  graders  throughout  our
cluster,  the  most  important  thing,  First
Eucharist Weekend.   Families  gathered
at Masses in Sacred Heart, St. Joseph
and St. Michael to be part of this spe-
cial  day  in  the  lives  of  their  children,
grandchildren, brothers or sisters.
Girls in beautiful dresses, boys in their
suits and ties … shiny shoes, huge
smiles and  excitement in their hearts,
as  they  receive  Jesus  in  the  Blessed
Sacrament,  for  the  first  time.    Please
remember these children in your pray-
ers,  praying  they  will  forever  excite-
ment each and every time they receive
Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, just as they did this very first time.  May Blessed Imelda be your companion as you grow in faith! Congratulations!
