Sacred Heart Academy broke ground last week on a 35,000-square-foot addition and renovation project, according to an April 29 announcement from the school.

The initiative is funded by donations to Sacred Heart’s $30 million “Sacred Heart Forever” campaign. The school said the project will include new facilities such as a dining hall, outdoor patio, student-run coffee shop and cafe, updated entrance and grand hallway, conference center, and a Student Life Empowerment Hub with collaboration spaces and offices.

“These state-of-the-art facilities will better serve students, faculty, and families by enhancing daily learning experiences, strengthening collaboration, and deepening the connections at the heart of SHA sisterhood,” Sacred Heart president Dr. Karen McNay announced during the ceremony.
