Philadelphia County Advisory Council to host Hall of Fame Tribute Dinner for Catholic education

The Philadelphia County Advisory Council announced on Mar. 18 that it will host a Hall of Fame Tribute Dinner in collaboration with the Foundation for Catholic Education to honor three supporters of Catholic education in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The event is scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at The Philadelphia Ballroom.
The dinner aims to recognize Most Reverend Michael J. Fitzgerald, Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Philadelphia, Mr. Anthony Naccarato, and Ms. Patricia Cody for their dedication to Catholic education within the archdiocese. The evening will feature live entertainment by The Philly Pops accompanied by Eddie Bruce.
The Philadelphia County Advisory Council works alongside the Foundation for Catholic Education to strengthen local Catholic schools by supporting enrollment and providing tuition assistance. During the 2025-2026 school year, the foundation raised more than $14.5 million, with over $2.7 million directly benefiting students in Philadelphia County.
Founded in 2010, the Foundation for Catholic Education is a not-for-profit organization that supports elementary education and county advisory councils throughout the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. These councils collaborate with the Executive Board of Elementary Education and the Office of Catholic Education to develop strategies and fundraising efforts for parish and regional elementary schools across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.
According to the official website, the Archdiocese of Philedelphia provides outreach through agencies like Nutritional Development Services and Catholic Social Services for community support. The archdiocese features the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul as its main worship site and functions as a metropolitan see in the Roman Catholic Church overseeing suffragan dioceses in Pennsylvania according to its official website. It serves more than 1.3 million Catholics across its area and works to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ while building strong faith communities through charitable efforts according to its official website. Nelson Pérez has served as the tenth archbishop since his installation in 2020 according to its official website.
The tribute dinner highlights ongoing efforts within Philadelphia’s Catholic community to support educational opportunities and recognize those who contribute significantly toward these goals.
