Nebraskans are being encouraged to participate in several events and activities this month that support the right to life.

A Novena for Life will take place from January 16 to 24, offering an opportunity for collective prayer. Additionally, the Nebraska Gala for Life is scheduled for January 30, with tickets available online.

On January 31, Archbishop Michael McGovern will celebrate Mass at St. Mary Church in Lincoln prior to the start of the Nebraska Walk for Life. The walk itself will also be held on January 31, and further information as well as photos from previous years can be found online.

For those interested in national events, the opening Mass and prayer vigil for the National March for Life will be broadcast from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., accessible at www.nationalshrine.org/mass.
