Nominations open for Golden Pineapple Awards for Catholic school educators and administrators

Hawaii Catholic Schools and Chaminade University announced on Mar. 27 that nominations are now being accepted for the Golden Pineapple Awards, which recognize outstanding teachers, specialists, and administrators in Catholic schools across Hawaii. The recipients for the 2025-2026 school year will be named at a recognition ceremony in May.

The awards aim to highlight excellence among educators and leaders within the state’s Catholic school system. Winners will receive a Golden Pineapple trophy along with a monetary award, while their schools will be granted $1,500 from the Augustine Educational Foundation to support staff development.
