Lourdes Central High School to present spring musical ‘Anything Goes’ May 1-3

Lourdes Central High School announced on Apr. 24 that it will stage its spring musical, “Anything Goes,” from May 1 to May 3 at the Wirth Theatre on the Lourdes Central Catholic main campus in Nebraska City.
The event highlights student involvement in performing arts, with more than 50 high school students participating as cast members, stage crew, dressers, and technical crew responsible for lights and sound. The production is directed by Ms. Lesley Gould.
“Anything Goes” is a musical comedy set aboard the S.S. American during the 1930s and follows nightclub singer Reno Sweeney as she helps her friend Billy Crocker pursue heiress Hope Harcourt. Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m., with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.tix.com, with general seating priced at $11 per person and premium seating at $13 per person.
