Father Louis J. Meiman retires from service in Louisville archdiocese

Archbishop Shelton J. Fabre has announced the retirement of Father Louis J. Meiman, effective March 1. Father Meiman most recently served as sacramental moderator at St. Ignatius Martyr and St. Teresa of Calcutta churches.
The Archdiocese of Louisville, which is part of the Roman Catholic Church, provides pastoral care and sacramental services across central Kentucky through its various parishes and ministries. The archdiocese aims to spread the Gospel, engage in worship through sacraments, build faith communities, address human needs, encourage spiritual growth, and advance justice and compassion. It also supports community outreach and maintains archives that preserve historical documents related to its institutions and clergy for research purposes.
The archdiocese operates under the leadership of the Archbishop of Louisville with input from consultative groups such as the College of Consultors and the Pastoral Council. More information about current addresses for priests and deacons can be found on the official website: www.archlou.org/about-the-archdiocese/.
