Diocese of Helena welcomes Father Dillon Armstrong after priestly ordination

On June 27, 2025, Dillon Armstrong was ordained as a priest for the Diocese of Helena. The ordination took place at the Cathedral of St. Helena and was led by Bishop Austin Vetter. Family members, friends, clergy, and other members of the diocese attended the Mass.
During the ceremony, Father Armstrong lay prostrate before the altar while prayers were offered on his behalf. Bishop Vetter then anointed Armstrong’s hands with Holy Oil and presented him with bread and wine as symbols of his new responsibilities in the priesthood.
The event included both a livestream of the Mass and a photo gallery documenting the occasion.
