Archdiocese of Louisville suspends Father Pablo Hernandez from all priestly duties

Father Pablo Hernandez has been suspended from priestly ministry, according to an announcement released on December 17, 2025. The suspension was issued due to his failure to accept and comply with directives intended for the good of his health and priestly ministry.
The statement reads: “Father Hernandez has been suspended from priestly ministry due to his failure to accept and comply with directives for the good of his own health and priestly ministry. Father Hernandez has no priestly faculties, should not be engaged in any priestly ministry, and should not be presenting himself as a priest.”
